Optex's OPTEX-171 (AX-200TFR(BE)C) battery powered barriers are a revolution in the perimeter security industry, offering a significant cost saving alternative to a traditional wired system.

No trenching or wiring is required, dramatically reducing labor time and installation costs. The unit comes radio ready by housing a transmitter in the multifunctional back box and is compatible with most third party radio systems. The OPTEX-171 (AX-200TFR(BE)C) supports four 3.6V batteries (two on each side), with an average lifespan of 3 years.
