Designed for mid- to high-end commercial environments where a Grade 2 security system is required, Honeywell's new DT8016MF4 motion sensor offers a reliable solution with specific patented features to prevent false alarms. It includes DualCore™ signal processing, ideal for areas that are difficult to protect with standard products. It has a total of five patents to improve reliability, installation and to prevent false alarms. In addition, both sensors incorporate plug-in terminals, making installation quicker and easier. Another feature of these sensors is that they incorporate end-of-line resistors and the walk test functionality optimises installation time. With the DT8016MF4 sensor, optimum performance is achieved through X-band microwave technology combined with uniformly sensitive mirror optics.
