Closure of the free P2P service on devices with customized firmware ⚠️

At By Demes, our commitment has always been to provide you with reliable solutions and quality service. For this reason, we would like to inform you of an important update:

After more than 15 years of offering the free P2P service for AirSpace, Coloso Evolution, and Dahua devices with customized firmware and over 10 years of age, we are forced to permanently discontinue this service as of March 1st, 2025. This decision is due to the lack of maintenance for devices compatible with this service, which have become obsolete, posing a significant security risk, including vulnerabilities to cyberattacks.

The cessation of the P2P service will not affect the general operation of the devices. However, those configured for remote connection via P2P will lose this functionality.

We understand that this transition may present a challenge. For this reason, at By Demes, we are actively collaborating with Alarm Receiving Centers to identify the affected devices and facilitate communication with installers. Additionally, we offer our free DDNS DEMES service as an effective alternative at no additional cost.

This is the ideal time to upgrade old devices that are no longer supported. We are working on specific plans to ease this transition, maximizing the benefits of the latest advancements in security technology.
