IP module connectable for integration with ADPRO PRO E series detectors

ADPRO PRO E detectors feature RS485 communication interface, allowing remote maintenance and full alarm management via a fieldbus connection up to 1000 meters. The IP Module (IPM) converts this RS485 bus to Ethernet and makes it available remotely using the IP address of the module. A virtual COM port (VCP) on a PC is used to access the detectors connected to the module.

Additional detectors can be connected via RS485 to a detector equipped with a PRO E-IPM:

• Two standard detectors (or one H-range detector) when PoE is supplied through the module.
• Up to 128 detectors when powered by a separate voltage supply and potential equalization is ensured.
