I2C-RS232 TWI Adapter

Specifications

• Bi-directional TWI-RS232 converter used to adapt the I2C-TWI bus (two-wire interface), built into the DOM and COMPRIO, to a standard RS232 serial communication line.
• For special services or for communication of VARIODYN® D1 devices with external systems (e.g. interfacing with Esser IQ8 or Notifier ID3000 fire alarm control panels).
• The TWI-RS232 adapter connects to the I2C bus of the DOM directly via the included Cat5 cable.
